Scholastic
We recognize that each child has a unique set of attributes and abilities. We aim to encourage them to be inquisitive, informed and independent students; who will be inspired to be the part and parcel of the society, become effective communicators and self-disciplined individuals. We aim to ensure solid foundation is laid for your child’s successful future. At SRVM, we believe that the curriculum encompasses the total learning experiences of the students, both inside and outside of the classroom. We refer here to the curriculum that occurs within the classroom and to the opportunities for learning outside the classroom including the co-curricular activities programmes, the camps and trips, sports and arts.
Early Childhood Stage
Nursery and Kindergarten curriculum has been designed with great care, keeping in mind that this may be the first time a child is away from parents or home. Our teachers are specially trained to encourage children to develop a sense of comfort and confidence as they settle into school routines. Various activities are used to inculcate the concept of taking turns and sharing. They also develop social skills, and are confident, and eager to create new ideas and expand their imagination and fantasy.
Classes 1 To VII
There are two terms I & II. In each term two periodic tests are conducted along with half yearly exam at the end of the First Term and Annual exam at the end of Second term. Internal marks are awarded based on their day-to-day performance like Notebook submission, assignments or worksheets etc. Assessments of both scholastic and co-scholastic marks/grades will be entered in the report card.
SMS Facility
Regular SMS updation regarding the Absenteeism of the students, Home Assignments, Exam Schedule, Open days and Holidays are given. Since important messages are sent through SMS, kindly keep the Mobile numbers updated in our school records. The school will not be responsible if your mobile numbers are switched off or any network errors.
